A lot has changed since we had our annual training with Robert Weinerman from Iron Bridge Resources. Some of the information presented in his winter and spring trainings has been updated or changed by the Department of Education. We know how confusing all the changes are, and it has been difficult to sort the old information from the new information.
We are pleased to share that Robert will be offering a “redo” webinar that will revisit the tax related information that financial aid administrators have to understand things, covering them as they are now. The webinar will redo the material that has changed since the winter and spring webinars, so you’ll have the information in one coherent and up-to-date discussion.
Topics that will be covered will include:
- Required V1 verification documentation
- Where are the FAFSA data found on the 2022 tax returns?
- What Schedules do you need to ask for when collecting a tax return?
- V1 Verification of non-filers
- Changes to the FAFSA data from 2023-2024 to 2024-2025, and since the publication of the pdf FAFSA (in December 2023) to the April Electronic Announcements
- Other topics, with plenty of time for questions.
